More iPad Wonders

Next time you visit a restaurant, don’t be alarmed to be seated at your dining table without being handed a menu. Taking a cue from PDA-waitering (using PDA devices to key in orders), restaurants are now moving along to the iPad times by using the gadget for the very same purpose – only better. On restaurant in Belgium trains its waiters to place orders using an iPad on hand, with vibrant pictures of its dishes for both their and diners’ reference. The iPad’s 4asoft.com’s programme means that diners can take a look at full menus in rich colours and enabled interactivity. What’s more, restaurants can even keep track of the stock or “86″ items.

More good news: soon enough, you might be paying your bills via the iPad too! An app developed by Square, this iPhone credit card system is modelled after the recent release of the similar iPhone version.

Talk about the ultimate in convenience. Go indulge in being a modern-day city dweller and let technology pave your way to improved living.
