iPad Orchestra
If you think that the iPad is just another plus-sized iPhone (or mini size MacBook), you are not getting on the right note. For all you know, the latest hype created by Steve Jobs is more than just your average cool gadget. You can play games, send email, surf the Internet, access to thousands of applications, and you can play music with it. Yes, you heard it right.
Check out the following video, which features four musicians playing a piece called “Sweet Dream” composed by Ilya Plavunov. The quartet consists of instruments like electronic cello, flute, violin, and clarinet. They are all using the Seline HD app on amplified iPads and the result is nothing short of musical/magical.
Now, we can see where this will be heading as jamming studios get packed with musicians with their iPads. And who knows? You might just get to watch Maksim’s Flight of the Bumblebee action played out on the iPad.
