Picture (Im)perfect
The resistance against domestic violence is calling out to photographers and photography assistants to join the worldwide cause through the power of pictures. The Pixel Project seeks pro-bono photography enthusiasts to assist in this global online campaign to put a stop to Violence Against Women – aiding the Malaysia’s Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) and the USA’s National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). Participants will assist award-winning international photographer, Jillian Edelstein for celebrity shoots around the world this year. The final moment will involve a collage of pictures of six “celebrity role models”, unveiled pixel by pixel with every $1 donated to the cause.
